About Frances and Simone
Frances Carbonnel & Simone Windeler are two accomplished horsewomen and highly skilled educators who will significantly help increase your riding skill sets & your dressage test scores.
Frances Carbonnel is an accomplished rider, trainer and instructor, riding and teaching in Castle Rock, Colorado. She is a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist, having trained several horses to Grand Prix. She owns several upper level schoolmasters available to teach students, and has recently imported two Lusitano horses for FEI competition. In 2019 Her young Lusitano stallion Galileu was the USDF Breeders Series Rocky Mountain Region Grand Champion Stallion. She is 8 times Western Dressage Association of America World Champion in Open Classes and Freestyle and holds multiple national championships with the International Andalusian and Lusitano Horse Association in Doma Vaquera Advanced, English Show Hack, Hunter Pleasure and was twice IALHA Horsewoman of the Year. Together with Cliff Swanson, she has held numerous "Train the Trainers" clinics for WDAA all over the United States. In those clinics she has trained over 450 instructors. Her teaching and instructing is always on point, kind and impactful. She has unique insights into both human and horse biomechanics and will help any rider achieve their best.

Simone Windler
In 1995 I moved to the United States and I have been judging since 2004 as a USDF L
graduate and now as a USEF R in Western Dressage. I hold an International MBA
from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK, and I am an accomplished show
manager and have managed numerous Regional Championships in Colorado and
Utah. As president of the Rocky Mountain Dressage Society, Pikes Peak Dressage
Society, and the Colorado Springs Dressage Association, I have had the privilege to
introduce many new ideas and shape these organizations into what they are today. I
am a certified instructor with the RMS Classical Riding Academy in Germany, and an
avid student of Science of Motion and Ride from Within. My riding and teaching
techniques are based on my continued study and thorough understanding of
biomechanics. In 2019 Frances and Simone started a new business together with Jillian -
Equestrian Freestyle Design.
